Jacob Bertazon was heading north on Barrens Road with he crossed over the double yellow line for an unknown reason near the intersection of Barton Circle striking a septic tanker truck on Dec. 21 around 2:30 p.m., according to the York County coroner's officer and Pennsylvania state police.
Bertazon died an accidental death due to multiple blunt-force trauma, as certified by Deputy Coroner Milly York at 2:36 p.m.
An autopsy will not be performed but a routine toxicology test was conducted.
The status and condition of the septic truck driver were not released.
The roadway reopened about an hour after the crash.
Funeral and memorial service details for Bertazon had yet to be released at the time of publishing.
